Senior Director of Resource Management

The Senior Director, Resource Management, is a seasoned leader responsible for overseeing a team of managers and indirect reports of individual contributors. This experienced professional must be capable of working independently, providing strategic direction, and guidance to resourcing managers and their teams to deliver high-quality resourcing solutions on time for assigned regions or key accounts.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain a holistic account and pan-account level 3-6 month Resourcing Strategy Plan, presenting it to stakeholders.
Operational Oversight
Point person for escalation resolution, facilitating backfill strategies, and proposed gap closure solutions within the account and collaborating with the ADL/CDD, GPL leadership team, and resource planners to identify potential solutions.
Requirements
- 2+ years of line management experience
- 10+ years of Resource Planning experience in CRO preferred, would consider pharmaceutical field
- Understanding of clinical research platforms required - Planisware preferred
- Principles of resourcing and approach to resourcing
- Experience creating metrics and KPIs
- Experience with process improvements
- Strong advocate of customer/client service
- Professional, balanced, calm under pressure
- Comfortable liaising with and presenting to more senior levels within the organization
- Strategic, long-term thinking and approach to solutioning
- Demonstrate good business acumen and understanding of clinical research fluid environment
- Demonstrate a solid 'can-do' approach and positive approach to change
- Flexible and collaborative mindset, ability to negotiate win-win situations
- Resilient and tenacious when faced with repeated challenges and barriers
- Ability to handle ambiguity comfortably and work independently
- Highly pro-active and responsive
- Strong ability to manage and motivate direct reports, including leading a 'virtual' team

- Sound interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills; ability to present effectively in a variety of settings; ability to relate well to others
- Systematic and process oriented
- Excellent computer and internet skills including knowledge of MS-Office products such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Education
Bachelor's or Master's degree required; MBA is a plus
Language Skills
Competent in written and oral English in addition to local language
