Parexel Partnership Lead, Director Job Description

Parexel is seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of Partnership Lead, Director. This home-based opportunity requires extensive experience within the CRO industry, as well as demonstrated client management skills and a strong understanding of both sales and delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop the infrastructure to support the growth, consistent quality, and profitable execution of client partnerships.
  • Interface with the rest of Parexel to guide modifications to the standard operating model, process, and data model to support partnership execution.
  • Establish internal and external governance of client partnerships, sharing best practices and lessons learned with the Partnership Office and account teams.
Accountabilities:
  • Support the pursuit of partnering opportunities through content development, responses to RFIs, RFPs, and presentations.
  • Lead the development of a Partnering Development Plan, including governance structure, partnership documentation, metrics, training plans, and communication plans.
  • Accountable for maintaining the operating/partnering model, including updates to the partnership operation manual.
  • Work with relevant functions to identify necessary updates to the standard Parexel operating model, data structure, and standards.
  • Establish and maintain partnering best practices across all elements of partnering.
  • Consult on and recommend customized models/approaches to fit client and Parexel needs.
Requirements:
  • Multiple years of experience working in a pharmaceutical services environment, preferably in a CRO, Life Sciences Company, or consulting background specializing in life sciences.
  • Preferred experience in both sales and delivery roles, with strong drug development knowledge an advantage.
  • BS degree required, advanced degree preferred.
  • Strategic and/or consulting skills in helping clients maximize short- and long-term goals.
  • Demonstrated ability to build strategic relationships, lead change management initiatives, and communicate at senior management level.
