Job Summary

The Southwest Power Pool is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Market Monitoring Intern to join our team for the summer of 2025. As a Market Monitoring Intern, you will have the opportunity to work with our experienced team to monitor and analyze market data, identify trends, and provide insights to support our mission of delivering reliable and affordable electricity to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

* Assist in the development and implementation of market monitoring tools and procedures
* Analyze market data and identify trends and patterns
* Provide insights and recommendations to support our mission
* Collaborate with our team to ensure the accuracy and completeness of market data

Requirements

* Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in economics, math, computer science, engineering, or a related field
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
