Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Alarm Technician to join our team at Summit Fire & Security. As a Fire Alarm Technician, you will be responsible for performing installations, inspections, and service on a variety of types of fire detection, fire alarm, CCTV, nurse call, intercom/paging, A/V, Voice/Data, Intrusion, and other similar low voltage systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform installations, inspections, and service on fire detection and security systems
  • Seek out additional sales and service opportunities within existing customer locations
  • Develop long-term relationships with customers and maintain customer retention

Requirements:

  • Low voltage experience
  • Mechanical ability and basic hand tool knowledge
  • Work efficiently with minimal supervision
  • Organizational skills are essential for success
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to lift 75 lbs.+, safely use of ladders, work overhead and work in tight spaces
  • High school degree or equivalent
