The University of Florida's Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and Sports Medicine is seeking a full-time academic board certified or board eligible Adult Reconstruction and Joint Replacement Orthopaedic Surgeon. This position will be Associate Professor or Professor on a tenure–accruing or non-tenure accruing track.
Responsibilities- Provide patient care and teaching with emphasis on joint surgery.
- Conduct extramural funded research.
- Completed an accredited Orthopaedic Surgery Residency.
- One-year or greater Adult Reconstructive Joint Fellowship.
- Passed Part 1 of the Orthopaedic Surgery Boards Examination.
- MD or DO degree.
- Eligible for an unrestricted Florida Medical License.
- Specialized training in adult reconstructive joint surgery.
Qualified applicants can submit a cover letter and curriculum vitae. Final candidates will be required to submit 3 letters of recommendation and an official transcript to the hiring department upon hire.
