We are seeking an experienced Assembly Pump Mechanic Supervisor to join our team at DXP Enterprises in Katy, TX. As a key member of our Innovative Pumping Solutions (IPS) team, you will be responsible for overseeing the assembly of pump sub-assemblies and ensuring the highest quality of our products.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of assembly technicians in the production of pump units, ensuring adherence to quality standards and production schedules.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and improve manufacturing processes.
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills of assembly technicians.
- Monitor and control inventory levels, ensuring timely delivery of materials and supplies.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and implement corrective actions to maintain a safe working environment.
- 5+ years of experience in pump assembly and supervision.
- Proven track record of leading high-performing teams and driving process improvements.
- Strong technical knowledge of pump units and assembly processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a shop environment.
