Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver courteous, knowledgeable, and attentive service to all customers, assisting them with product inquiries, sizing, styling advice, and purchases.
- Achieve and surpass sales targets by effectively communicating product features and benefits, upselling additional items, and enhancing customer satisfaction.
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently using point-of-sale (POS) systems, ensuring secure handling of cash, credit, and other payment methods.
- Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and visually appealing retail environment, including restocking merchandise, arranging displays, and ensuring product availability.
- Stay updated on current trends, product offerings, and promotions to provide accurate information and recommendations to customers.
- Collaborate with team members to meet store objectives, including participating in meetings, training sessions, and special projects as required.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding store operations, safety guidelines, and inventory management to ensure compliance and minimize shrinkage.
- Assist with receiving, unpacking, and organizing merchandise shipments, conducting regular inventory counts, and identifying discrepancies to maintain accurate stock levels.
- Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally, escalating complex issues to management as needed to ensure swift resolution and customer satisfaction.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, with a solution-oriented approach to guest issues.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Requirements:
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent work and educational experience.
- Previous experience in customer service or retail is required.
- Availability to work shifts as needed, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to accommodate fluctuating business needs.
- All candidates must pass a background check prior to employment.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects up to 25 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Frequent bending, kneeling, and reaching.
- Ability to stand and walk moderate distances for the entire shift.
Compensation:
Hourly Rate: $17 per hour
