Job Summary

The Government Jobs organization is seeking a skilled Bus Driver to transport children and families to their Head Start/ECEAP related services. This role requires a strong commitment to ensuring the safety of students during transport, loading, and unloading from buses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transport children and families to their Head Start/ECEAP related services
  • Assist with program activities and ensure vehicle is in safe operating condition
  • Ensure safety of students during transport, loading, and unloading from buses
  • Advises students and other passengers of appropriate behavior for the purpose of reinforcing regulations and maintaining passenger safety
  • Assesses incidents, complaints, accidents, and/or potential emergency situations for the purpose of resolving and/or recommending a resolution to the situation
Requirements

This role requires a strong commitment to safety and a passion for working with children and families. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
