Essential Responsibilities
Responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:
  • Overseeing one or more moderately complex projects.
  • Engaging with clients across a regional geographic area.
  • Assisting in the planning and execution of projects for the Department of Defense, focusing on environmental compliance and remediation.
  • Conducting research and analysis related to environmental regulations.
  • Formulating and implementing effective environmental solutions and best management practices, as well as supporting environmental planning efforts.
  • Collaborating with clients to ascertain technical requirements.
  • Drafting work planning documents (e.g., UFP-QAPP) and technical reports.
  • Leading and executing fieldwork, including sampling and data collection at project sites, which may require travel.
  • Participating in teams of scientists and technicians to carry out project tasks.
  • Analyzing data sets, drawing conclusions, and providing risk management recommendations.
  • Managing personal workloads, keeping project managers informed of progress and challenges, and presenting project outcomes for final delivery.
  • Adhering to schedules while ensuring high-quality work output.
  • Working independently with minimal supervision and managing multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
  • Exhibiting a strong work ethic and maintaining a professional demeanor.
