About the Opportunity

A Judiciary in Richmond, VA is seeking a Senior Windows Engineer to fill a hybrid role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support, implementation, and design services for Microsoft Active Directory and Windows Servers across the enterprise.
  • Collaborate with team members to suggest configuration options and understand tradeoffs between options.
  • Assist n-tier Application Owners with configuration, implementation, and troubleshooting as it pertains to Windows Server and Active Directory.
  • Manage enterprise Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Certificate Services, Group Policy configuration, Microsoft Windows Server administration, and top-level support for enterprise-wide initiatives.
Requirements
  • Must pass background investigation.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or information technology or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of Windows Server/AD experience.
  • Expert-level knowledge in Active Directory configuration, management, and troubleshooting.
  • Mid-expert level knowledge in Windows Server Operating Systems (2012R2 to 2022) configuration, management, and troubleshooting.
  • Scripting experience in PowerShell.
  • Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with Network Storage applications Network Attached Storage (NAS), or NetApp.
  • Ability to solve complex hardware and software issues.
