We are seeking a driven and ambitious Business Development Associate to join our team at PILLARS, a leading legal services firm based in McLean, VA. As a Business Development Associate, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, developing and maintaining relationships with clients, and contributing to the overall growth and success of our firm.

With a strong understanding of legal services and market trends in the USA, you will be able to effectively identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking, and other business development strategies. Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills will enable you to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, and a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in business development, preferably within the legal industry. You will also possess a proven track record of successfully identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, as well as a strong business acumen.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and Pursue New Business Opportunities: Conduct market research, network with potential clients, and develop strategic plans to pursue new business opportunities.
  • Develop and Maintain Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders through effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Collaborate with Attorneys and Legal Professionals: Work closely with attorneys and legal professionals to prepare proposals and presentations for potential clients.
  • Represent the Firm: Attend industry events and conferences to represent the firm and promote our services.
  • Monitor Market Trends: Stay up-to-date on market trends and competitor activities to identify potential business opportunities.
  • Work with the Marketing Team: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement business development strategies and campaigns.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in business development, preferably within the legal industry
  • Strong understanding of legal services and market trends in the USA
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven track record of successfully identifying and pursuing new business opportunities
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders

Salary Range: $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience
