Job Summary

Care New England is seeking a highly skilled Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Women & Infants Hospital. As a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner, you will provide exceptional care to critically ill newborns and their families in our state-of-the-art, 2-story, 80-bed private room NICU.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to critically ill newborns, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the neonatology team.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
  • Contribute to the education and training of nursing staff and other healthcare professionals.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Nursing with a focus on Neonatal Nursing.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Rhode Island.
  • Experience in neonatal nursing, preferably in a Level IV NICU.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
