About the Role: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Operations Manager to join our team at Goodwill of Central & Northern Arizona. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for leading the daily operations of our retail stores, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership: Lead the day-to-day operations of our retail stores, including sales floor management, production room operations, and customer service.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute retail operations plans to achieve daily, monthly, quarterly, and yearly goals for operating income, revenue, and production.
  • Team Management: Supervise and train store associates, providing coaching and development opportunities to ensure they meet their job responsibilities and performance expectations.
  • Customer Service: Foster an exceptional customer experience by ensuring all interactions are friendly, helpful, and professional.
  • Financial Management: Manage payroll costs and operating expenses to budget, while maintaining accurate records and reports.
  • Inventory Control: Oversee inventory levels, monitor product movement, and optimize stock levels to maximize sales and minimize waste.
  • Donation Processing: Ensure efficient donation processing, including sorting, pricing, and displaying donated items in a manner that appeals to customers.
  • Community Engagement: Partner with community businesses and organizations to promote Goodwill's mission and values.
  • Training and Development: Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for store associates to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Adaptability: Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in response to changing business needs, priorities, and circumstances.
