We are seeking a skilled Electrical Calibration Specialist to join our team at Micro Precision. As a key member of our calibration team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and precision of our test instruments.
Key Responsibilities- Perform calibration and maintenance of electrical test instruments, including electrical equipment, industrial equipment, and temperature equipment.
- Conduct standards maintenance and checking of company standards as assigned by the Lab Manager.
- Collect and record calibration data, and complete calibration certifications, including out-of-tolerance conditions.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on the latest calibration techniques and best practices.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share knowledge and expertise, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and quality standards in the performance of tasks.
- Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues to resolve calibration issues and provide technical support.
- Valid Driver's License
- Basic knowledge of mechanical and dimensional equipment preferred
- Experience in basic instrumentation and manual tools preferred
- Basic mathematics understanding
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience in MS Word and Excel
- Ability to work independently and under the supervision of Senior Technicians
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. without assistance
- Work performed in the local laboratory and at customer facilities
- Up to 25% out-of-town, overnight travel

$18 - $30 per hour, based on experience
