Compensation: $25-$30 per hour (plus $0.50 more for Spanish-speaking skills)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate individual to join our team as a Behavioral Therapist. In this role, you will work directly with Board Certified Behavioral Analysts to provide therapy to children and families in need of support.

  • Teach communication skills, social skills, self-help skills, and play skills through Applied Behavioral Analysis principles
  • Maintain active participation for the length of the session by engaging in play and keeping up with the energy of the child
  • Accurately record treatment data on the child's program goals

You will also engage in and ensure client safety, maintain confidentiality, and uphold professional conduct at all times.

Qualifications and Skills

To be successful in this role, you must have a High School diploma along with at least 12 months of childcare experience or an Associate's degree or higher in a related field along with at least 6 months of childcare experience.

  • You must be tech-savvy and have a smartphone or similar device capable of capturing client session data
  • Exposure to individuals with Autism or special needs through family, friends, or work experience is a plus
  • You must pass a criminal background check, motor vehicle record check, TB test, Pre-employment Physical Exam, and have or receive immunities to MMR/ VZV during our onboarding process
