About this Role

Palm Beach State College is seeking a highly qualified Marine Technology Instructor to join our team. As an Adjunct Professor of Marine Science, you will be responsible for instructing college students in accordance with educational theories and techniques. You will develop discipline-related curricula, assess student learning, participate in program evaluation, and college activities. You will maintain college and department standards in support of the College's mission and strategic plan.

Responsibilities
  • Instruct college students in marine technology courses
  • Develop and implement curriculum for marine technology programs
  • Assess student learning and progress
  • Participate in program evaluation and college activities
  • Maintain college and department standards
Requirements
  • Eight years of field experience in marine technology
  • Two years of field experience and marine industry certifications or military marine certifications or ASE T1 and T2
  • Associate or bachelor's degree in the field or in CTE education with marine field experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate or bachelor's degree in the field or in CTE education with marine field experience
