About this Role

Palm Beach State College is seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Instructor to join our team. As an Adjunct Instructor, you will be responsible for instructing college students in accordance with educational theories and techniques.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver discipline-related curricula
  • Assess student learning and participate in program evaluation
  • Maintain college and department standards in support of the College's mission and strategic plan
Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must have a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Structural Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering or Engineering Technology, Building Construction, or Building Management and related work experience with knowledge of industry software applications. Alternatively, you must have 18 Master's level credit hours in one of the areas mentioned above.

You must also be able to demonstrate the use of technology in the classroom and use the technology required for the assigned course. Coursework within the degree must reflect competencies in the courses to be taught.

Preferred Qualifications

A Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Master's degree and 18 graduate semester hours in Electrical Engineering are preferred.
