We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate LPN Charge Nurse to join our team at Apple Rehab Cromwell. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our residents and ensuring the smooth operation of our skilled nursing community.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, implement, and oversee nursing services for assigned residents, adhering to quality care standards, facility policies, and legal requirements.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of resident care, including medication administration and treatment plans.
- Collaborate with physicians, families, and support staff to ensure seamless care delivery and resident satisfaction.
- Supervise and mentor nursing staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality care.
- Valid state nursing license in good standing (or in the process of becoming a registered nurse).
- In-depth knowledge of nursing practices, medical procedures, and long-term care regulations.
- Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Collaborative team player with previous experience in long-term care preferred.
- Competitive hourly rate up to $37 per hour, based on experience.
- Shift differentials for 2nd and 3rd shifts.
- Weekend differential: $1.50 for hours worked on Saturday and Sunday.
- Additional shift differential: Extra $5.00/hour for any shifts worked outside scheduled hours.
