Job Title: Clinic Radiology Technologist

Inova Health System is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Radiology Technologist to join our team as a Clinic Radiology Technologist Supervisor.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to oversee the daily operations of our radiology department. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of patient care, maintaining accurate records, and collaborating with our team of healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of radiology technologists and other department staff.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective department operations.
  • Collaborate with the imaging clinical coordinator to ensure seamless workflow and high-quality patient care.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and accreditation standards.
  • Provide training and guidance to new staff members.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of departmental goals and objectives.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in a radiology department, preferably in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Current certification as a Registered Radiologic Technologist (RRT) or equivalent.
  • Associate's degree in Radiological Sciences or related field.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
