Interventional Radiology Technologist Opportunity

Inova Health System is seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team at Fairfax Hospital.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to participate in our IR Tech Training Program, Spring 2025. This 10-month program includes full benefits, hands-on training, and pay.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in clinical rotations at Inova Fairfax Medical Campus, including scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring IR and operating room procedures.
  • Attend lectures and hands-on workshops as part of the training program.
  • Meet the requirements for IR board certification and continue as a full-time IR Technologist upon successful program completion.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiography.
  • Some experience as a Cardiovascular Interventional Radiology Technologist.
  • BLS from the AHA; ARRT registered with a BLS from the American Heart Association.
  • GPA of 3.0 or higher in college coursework.
  • Copy of current ARRT card.
  • Official Transcripts from all previous college coursework, including radiography program.
  • 500-word essay on why Interventional Radiology is your chosen career path (personal statement).
  • Current Resume.
  • 3 Professional References - Current Supervisor, Radiology Program Director, and Colleague of choice.
