DORN Companies is a leading provider of industrial injury prevention and ergonomics services. Our team is dedicated to reducing and eliminating employees' pain and injuries by offering collaborative expertise to onsite safety and management teams.

Job Summary:
This part-time, contracted position requires a seasoned professional with the confidence to develop collaborative relationships with onsite teams to identify safety issues and determine corrective priorities. The successful candidate will provide one-on-one and team training, workstation assessments, body mechanics training and coaching, self-care technique training, and recommendations for process improvements.

Responsibilities:
The Industrial Injury Prevention Specialist will work closely with site safety and management personnel to provide deep tissue therapy for pain relief and injury prevention. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing one-on-one and team training on injury prevention and deep tissue therapy techniques
  • Conducting workstation assessments and providing recommendations for improvement
  • Developing and implementing body mechanics training and coaching programs
  • Providing self-care technique training and recommendations for process improvements

Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have a valid license or certification in massage therapy, a minimum of 2-3 years' experience in injury prevention and rehabilitation, and education and experience in movement or exercise science, kinesiology, or sports training/coaching. Strong observation and report writing skills, excellent oral and written communication skills, and proficiency in basic computer skills are also required.

Benefits:
This is a contracted 1099 position with no benefits provided. However, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in an atypical setting with more autonomy and opportunities for professional growth and development.

Training: 1-2 day session
Start Date: Immediate
Hours: 6-12 hours/week (1-2 days)
Availability: Monday, Wednesday, Friday between the hours of 10am and 4pm
