As a key member of our educational team, you will be responsible for instructing courses and laboratory exercises, ensuring that course objectives are met, and motivating and inspiring students to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Instruct courses and correlating laboratory exercises, including didactic and clinical instruction and evaluation.
  • Ensure that course and clinical laboratory exercises meet course objectives.
  • Motivate and inspire students to achieve academic success.
  • Develop and implement curriculum to meet the needs of our students and the healthcare industry.
  • Assess student performance and provide feedback to improve student outcomes.
  • Stay current with industry developments and advancements in medical assisting and healthcare education.
Requirements
  • Minimum - Associate Degree in Health Care or Education Related field.
  • Preferred - Bachelor or Master's Degree in Health Care or Education Related field.
  • Minimum - Two (2) years full-time clinical experience as a certified medical assistant and/or registered nurse, including instructional experience in the classroom or clinical setting.
  • Preferred - Five (5) years full-time clinical experience as a certified medical assistant or registered nurse including instructional experience in the classroom or clinical setting.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Minimum - CMA. Will consider candidates with active LPN and RN licensure.
  • Preferred - CMA, RN and Phlebotomy.
Physical Requirements
  • Light: Ability to lift up to 20 pounds maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 10 pounds.
