Job Title: Film Instructor

We are seeking a highly motivated and qualified Film Instructor to join our team at Madison Area Technical College. As a Film Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching part-time courses in the Film program, developing curriculum, and advising students.

Job Summary:

The Film Instructor will be responsible for:

  • Teaching part-time courses in the Film program, including Introduction to Film and History of World Cinema
  • Developing and planning instructional strategies and alternative delivery methods
  • Participating in in-service meetings, staff development training, and other activities
  • Assisting and advising students with academic matters
  • Maintaining competencies as an instructor and demonstrating a commitment to the college's mission, vision, and values
Requirements:

To be considered for this position, you must have:

  • A Master's degree in Film, Creative Writing (screen writing emphasis), English, or Mass Communication
  • 18 graduate credits in film history and analysis
