Job Title: Part-Time Instructor for Animation Program

Madison Area Technical College is seeking a part-time instructor to teach courses in the Animation program. The successful candidate will have a strong background in animation and graphic design, as well as excellent teaching and communication skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Teach courses in animation and graphic design, including drawing fundamentals, design and color, and animation techniques.
  • Develop and implement instructional strategies and curriculum to meet the needs of adult students.
  • Assess student performance and provide feedback to students.
  • Participate in college service activities, such as advising students and serving on committees.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in animation or a related field.
  • Seven years or 14,000 hours of related work experience.
  • Ability to infuse multicultural perspectives into course content and delivery.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in animation or a related field.
  • Experience teaching adult students.
  • Knowledge of educational technology and alternative delivery methods.
