Job Description

We are seeking an Office Management Associate to join our team at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. This role will provide administrative support to the Office of the Dean and Director in the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences (CALS).

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide general administrative support, exercising discretion to the administrator of a department or division of the institution or to the administrator of multiple institution programs, services, and activities.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for individuals and groups, providing organizational information via phone, in person, and through other communication mediums.
  • Prepare and audit complex records, edit documents, and review work done by others.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain methods and organizational systems directed at the maintenance of electronic/physical records related to work operations according to established policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, including email, word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and virtual platforms.

Salary: $23.50 per hour. The starting salary range may vary based on experience and qualifications.
