Your Role at Raising Cane's:

The Food Service Operations Manager plays a vital role in assisting the Restaurant Leader with the daily management of restaurant operations while upholding the standards and culture of Raising Cane's.

This position requires working in a dynamic kitchen environment, which involves physical activities such as walking, standing, lifting, and bending, as well as customer interaction. The role also entails working in various temperature conditions and handling food products and cleaning supplies that necessitate the use of personal protective equipment.

Your Impact and Responsibilities:
  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Ensure that all operations align with Raising Cane's standards during each shift.
    • Act as the manager on duty, overseeing the opening and closing of the restaurant.
    • Manage cash handling processes and maintain accountability.
  • General Duties:
    • Enforce company policies and operational standards.
    • Execute shift management tasks while adhering to safety protocols.
    • Utilize necessary tools and documentation to support shift execution and implement corrective actions as needed.
    • Direct and guide crew members throughout the shift.
    • Deliver exceptional customer service.
    • Implement reward and recognition programs for crew members.
    • Authorize employee functions that require managerial approval.
    • Maintain cleanliness and ensure the restaurant is in optimal working condition.
    • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Requirements for Success:

  • Detail-oriented and organized, capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and energetic with strong communication skills.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Proficient in problem recognition, goal setting, and executing plans effectively.
  • Knowledgeable in staffing, scheduling, and cost management.
  • Familiar with various technology systems, including Microsoft Office, and quick to learn new systems.
  • Available to work various shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends.
  • Completion of all required company training programs.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in restaurant or retail management.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
