Job Title: Converting Operator

We are seeking a skilled Converting Operator to join our team at Pregis. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for monitoring the operation of assigned converting machines to ensure high-quality products and efficient production processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support and promote Pregis' core values of integrity, collaboration, customer focus, and innovation.
  • Adhere to the highest standards of company safety programs, guidelines, rules, and regulations, including personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements.
  • Perform physical and visual inspections of products to prevent non-conforming goods and promptly report quality defects to team members.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including housekeeping and inventory management.
  • Monitor machine operation to ensure accurate product measurements and quality, and meet or exceed production rates and customer requirements.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 1 year of manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, follow standardized work instructions, and adhere to safe work practices.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Prior experience with SAP or similar ERP systems is a plus.
Work Environment:

This is a full-time position with a 12-hour rotation (8a-8p) and overtime expected based on business demand. The work environment is fast-paced and requires the ability to work in a team-oriented setting with exposure to moving equipment, heat, humidity, and noise.
