Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Custodial Team Member to join our team at Prairie's Edge Casino Resort. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the overall cleanliness and maintenance of our casino floor.

Key Responsibilities
  • Service, clean, or supply restrooms on a regular basis.
  • Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
  • Gather and empty trash and ashtrays, and take trash to the compactor.
  • Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
  • Must thoroughly understand the PECR Bloodborne Pathogen Procedures and be able to perform cleaning duties as it pertains to Bloodborne Pathogens according to established regulations and procedures.
  • Mix water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications.
  • Clean windows, glass partitions, or mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, or squeegees.
  • Notify managers concerning the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems.
  • Dust furniture, walls, machines (front and tops), or equipment. Clean money bins and in between machines.
  • Clean and polish furniture and fixtures.
  • Remove snow from sidewalks (when applicable).
  • Follow all casino policies and procedures and chain of command.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
