Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team at TJ Maxx. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will be responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and adhering to all operational and merchandise standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, answering questions, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the sales floor, stockroom, and backroom areas.
  • Process customer purchases and returns accurately and efficiently, while also promoting credit and loyalty programs.
  • Support and participate in store recovery efforts as needed, including maintaining all organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards.
  • Work effectively with peers and supervisors to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive store culture.
Requirements
  • Excellent customer service skills and a strong ability to work with diverse customers.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, to support business needs.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
  • Capable of lifting heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Previous retail customer experience preferred, but not required.
Benefits

We offer a competitive starting pay rate of $13.00 to $13.50 per hour, as well as a range of benefits, including associate discount, EAP, smoking cessation, bereavement, 401(k) associate contributions, and more. All benefits are provided in accordance with and subject to the terms of the applicable plan or program and may change from time to time.
