Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team at Wayfair. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing an exceptional customer experience, driving sales, and assisting with operational aspects of the store.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide authentic and friendly customer service that exemplifies Wayfair's commitment to customer focus
  • Drive sales by asking great questions, guiding customers through their needs, and providing product options that lead to a satisfied customer experience
  • Assist walk-ins on the sales floor and in the design studio as needed
  • Be an expert in the services offered in store and online, including credit, financing, warranty, installation, and delivery
  • Participate in operational aspects of the store, including processing new products, floor sets, replenishment, substitutions, and general upkeep
  • Exemplify a positive and professional attitude on a daily basis with customers and team members
Requirements
  • 1+ years of retail sales experience, preferably in a design-related environment
  • Passion for great customer service and a drive to exceed sales targets
  • Strong organization, self-motivation, communication, and relationship management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment, with an ability to adapt and grow
  • Demonstrated ability to work within a team sales environment
  • Technical acumen to learn necessary software, with proficiency in Google and Microsoft Office applications preferred
