Customer Service Representative

Job Summary:
U-Haul is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our team. As a key member of our customer service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, ensuring their needs are met, and exceeding their expectations.
Responsibilities:
- Assist customers with U-Haul products and services, providing solutions to their needs and concerns.
- Use U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers, ensuring safe and secure transportation.
- Clean and inspect equipment on the lot, maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
- Answer customer questions and educate them on U-Haul products and services.
- Prepare rental invoices and accept equipment returned from rental, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
- Install hitches and trailer wiring, ensuring safe and secure connections.
- Fulfill other duties as assigned, contributing to the success of our team.
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license and ability to maintain a good driving record.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Work Environment:
The work involves moderate risks or discomforts, requiring special safety precautions. May be required to use protective clothing or gear, such as masks, goggles, gloves, or shields.
Physical Demands:
The work requires some physical exertion, including long periods of remaining stationary, moving around indoors and outdoors, positioning oneself to reach objects at varying heights, and moving equipment weighing a minimum of 50 lbs. assisted or unassisted.
