About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our PLM engineering team at Laborie Medical Technologies Corp. As an Electrical Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting our product lines with your technical expertise and electrical design experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the lifecycle of existing products within the Laborie portfolio, ensuring alignment with market needs and compliance standards.
  • Develop and implement electrical design processes, ensuring timely and effective integration of electrical and PCB designs into production.
  • Evaluate production changes and their impact on product design, ensuring seamless transitions and quality control.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement product changes that drive business objectives.
  • Provide technical documentation and support to manufacturing and supply chain partners, regulatory affairs, marketing, and customer care teams.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field, with 2-4 years of relevant experience in hardware and/or firmware design.
  • Proven experience in medical device engineering, with a strong understanding of standards/regulations such as GMP, FDA's QSR (CFR 820), IEC 60601, IEC 62304, EU MDD/EU MDR, and ISO.
  • Familiarity with engineering concepts including Design for Excellence, CTQ design and development, and the engineering change process.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach to engineering challenges.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, a commitment to quality, and excellent communication and collaboration skills.
