Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team at Vector Atomic, a leading innovator in quantum devices. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and verifying analog and mixed-signal circuits for precision INS instruments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop next-generation quantum instruments.
  • Design and implement analog and mixed-signal circuits, with a focus on low-noise and low-power design.
  • Select and procure components, and work with purchasing to fabricate and assemble PCBAs.
  • Create schematics and assist with layout, defining critical board layout techniques to improve signal integrity.
  • Assist with board bring-up and debugging, developing test scripts and documentation to support validation.
  • Work with software engineers to provide technical guidance and support.
  • Contribute to the development process through task ticket creation and continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • BSEE or MSEE degree, with substantial course/lab/intern work in analog circuit design.
  • 2+ years of directly relevant experience, with training/expertise in analog and mixed-signal circuit design.
  • Experience with EDA tools, Spice simulation, and laboratory test and measurement equipment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers and collaborators.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Training/expertise with POL power supply circuit design.
  • Experience with high-density PCB design techniques, such as HDI.
  • IPC certifications in PCB Design and/or Connectors.
  • Experience with designing PCB Flex boards.
