Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily service activities to align with departmental objectives through effective prioritization and resource allocation.
- Engage with clients, service coordinators, and sales teams to discuss scheduling, pricing, and equipment maintenance.
- Ensure client expectations for communication and updates are consistently met or surpassed.
- Collaborate with essential service and parts personnel to streamline information flow and processes aimed at delivering outstanding customer service.
- Oversee and follow up on service delivery metrics, including project timelines, costs, service quality, and invoicing.
- Provide accurate service quotes using our service management software, unless previously established with the client.
- Maintain precise and timely coordination of documentation and communication to ensure operational efficiency.
- Generate purchase orders and ensure accurate entry into our work order systems.
- Work closely with supervisors to manage the opening and closing of work orders daily.
- Compile and maintain daily and monthly departmental reports.
- Adhere to safety protocols and company policies at all times.
- Demonstrate regular and punctual attendance.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Proficient in computer operations and multi-line phone systems.
- Familiarity with basic office procedures and practices.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional customer service abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for building relationships across various departments.
- Working knowledge of key operational systems.
- Understanding of critical product applications.
- Effective time management and prioritization skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate effectively with team members and management.
- Self-motivated with the capability to work independently.
- Ability to operate standard office equipment.
- Comprehension of written materials in a work context.
- Ability to present information clearly and respond to inquiries from various stakeholders.
Education and Experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent is required.
- A minimum of three years of direct service experience or five years in the air compressor industry is preferred.
Additional Requirements:
- A valid driver's license is necessary.
Supervisory Role:
- This position does not include supervisory responsibilities.
Travel Requirements:
- Minimal travel may be required.
