About the Role

As an Operations Lead/Supervisor at Amazon SZ Franken GmbH - H68, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics and supply chain processes. This is a challenging and rewarding position that requires strong leadership and analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process Optimization: You will be responsible for measuring and monitoring workflow processes, tracking performance metrics, and providing critical shift information to shift leaders to ensure seamless operational excellence.
  • Team Support: You will support and train team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively, and oversee their daily tasks.
  • Project Management: You will support the shift/area leader in process improvement projects, promote a safe working environment, and enhance employee engagement.
  • Collaboration: You will work with other departments to find solutions to common problems or meet critical performance needs.
  • Data Analysis: You will use data analytics to identify opportunities for improving safety, quality, and productivity.
A Day in the Life

As an Operations Lead/Supervisor, you will work at one of our operational sites. You will support the shift/area leader in executing the shift plan, help prepare for shift meetings with your team, and monitor procedures and workflows. This ensures that safety regulations, quality control processes, and daily priorities are followed.

You will escalate any issues you notice to your manager. Occasionally, you will also act as a shift leader and provide guidance to your team members to complete their tasks. When needed, you will support the shift/area leader in shift planning and ensure that sufficient team members are assigned during peak times.

About the Team

Our Amazon Transportation Services (ATS) Team is essential to maintaining Amazon's fast delivery promise. We are a diverse team that plays a central role in the success of our supply chain. In collaboration with air and sea freight companies, road transportation, and our modern sorting centers, you will ensure that Amazon delivers to its customers as efficiently as possible. Our team analyzes data to make decisions and make Amazon even more efficient and innovative. Our employees and their safety are our top priority. Requirements
  • Advanced German language skills in writing and speaking.
  • Experience in working with data analytics and applying it to problem-solving.
  • Experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) in a professional environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in stakeholder management, including building and maintaining professional relationships.
  • Experience working in an operational environment, such as logistics, retail, hospitality, or customer service.
  • Advanced English language skills.
