Position Overview:
The Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering high-quality care and managing a designated group of patients during their shift. This role involves collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct ongoing assessments of patients, focusing on their physiological, psychological, and cognitive conditions.
- Develop and implement a structured plan of care that prioritizes patient needs based on nursing diagnoses and expected outcomes.
- Deliver care consistently and competently, ensuring adherence to established protocols.
- Assess and adjust care priorities based on patient requirements and available resources.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of care provided and monitor patient progress towards their health goals.
- Identify educational needs of patients and their families, providing appropriate resources and support.
- Facilitate collaboration among healthcare team members to enhance patient care.
- Adhere to all compliance and regulatory standards relevant to the nursing profession.
- Perform additional duties as required to support the nursing department.
Qualifications:
- Current RN license in the state of Connecticut.
- Preferred qualifications include nursing certification and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
Work Schedule:
This is a full-time position requiring 36 hours per week, with shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM.

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to perform significant manual tasks and possess fine motor skills.
- Capacity to handle heavy physical demands, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
