Nurse Practitioner Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Bayhealth. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Nurse Practitioner and be certified in Advanced Oncology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide complete physical examinations, diagnosis, and treatment of chronic and episodic disorders.
- Work independently and collaboratively with physicians to ensure proper illness and injury care and disease prevention.
- Prescribe pharmaceuticals according to age, chronic medical conditions, allergies, drug interactions, and duration of therapy.
- Perform routine and specialty physical exams and document specific age-related preventative health screening.
- Interpret diagnostic tests for patients and provide appropriate referrals or consultations.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Nurse Practitioner.
- Advanced Oncology Certified Nurse Practitioner within 3 years.
- Basic Life Support certification.
- Registered Nurse certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Three (3) years' experience as a Nurse Practitioner in a specific area of practice.
