Pediatric Nurse Specialist

Pediatric Developmental Services (PDS) is seeking a highly qualified Pediatric Nurse Specialist to join our team. As a Pediatric Nurse Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional care to children and families across the nation. Responsibilities:
Provide basic care for students when they are injured, ill, or have chronic conditions.
Oversee the school's medication administration program.
Educate students and staff on healthy habits, such as hygiene and proper nutrition.
Work with school staff to ensure the physical and emotional safety of the school community.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
Has obtained or is eligible for an endorsement as a School Nurse as prescribed in the bylaws of the State Department of Education.
Ability to work independently and maintain ethical and accountability standards.
Demonstrates interpersonal skills, and communicates effectively and courteously both verbally and in writing.
Has the ability to coordinate activities and work effectively with professional staff, support staff, parents, and representatives from agencies outside the school system.
