Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our team at Emser Tile. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, resolving customer complaints, and ensuring that our customers receive the highest level of service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist in the day-to-day functioning of the branch, including greeting customers, answering phones, and directing customers to the appropriate team member.
  • Build relationships with contractors and vendors, ensuring that our customers receive the best possible service.
  • Work with the Operations Manager to ensure that our customers receive the highest level of service, and that our operations are running smoothly.
  • Assist with the placement of orders, refunds, and exchanges, ensuring that our customers are satisfied with their experience.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience providing operations, sales, and customer service support in a sales, retail, or distribution environment.
  • Detail-oriented and self-starter, with excellent interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain a professional work environment at all times, and to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with knowledge of relevant computer applications, such as Outlook and Excel.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 110 pounds, and to stand, walk, and use hands and arms for extended periods of time.

Physical Requirements

  • Stand, use hands, and reach with hands and arms for extended periods of time.
  • Walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and lift and move up to 110 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus.
  • Exposure to moving mechanical parts, and occasional exposure to fumes or airborne particles.
  • May be exposed to a wide range of temperatures, and the noise level is usually loud.
