JOB DESCRIPTION

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead investigations into incidents, perform Root Cause Analysis, and ensure timely resolution of Corrective Actions.
  • Deliver HSE training sessions for facility staff, including leadership.
  • Promote the Management of Change (MOC) procedure/process.
  • Engage in regular facility HSE inspections, evaluations, and audits.
  • Conduct assessments of field operations at rig sites.
  • Facilitate effective communication with all site personnel regarding HSE principles.
  • Serve as a consultant and resource for facility management on HSE issues.
  • Coordinate with facility management to ensure clarity on all outstanding action items.
  • Perform hazard-risk assessments.
  • Maintain accurate recordkeeping and document control as per NOV HSE 360 Management system.
  • Collaborate closely with facility operations to implement the NOV HSE 360 Management System (policies, procedures, and actions).
  • Execute additional tasks as assigned by HSE Management.
  • Assist in updating the local facility's HSE Management System.
  • Support the business unit and local facilities in achieving annual HSE objectives and targets.
  • Conduct monthly HSE evaluations at NOV facilities and client locations.
  • Assist in performing Internal Audits according to NOV HSE procedures.
  • Present audit findings and recommendations to local or Area Management.
Qualifications:

(Education/Experience)
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the oil and gas sector.
  • Experience in auditing HSE Management Systems.
  • Experience in training delivery.
  • A degree in HSE or a related field is advantageous.
Experience:
  • Proven experience in implementing and maintaining a HSE Management System.
  • Completion of safety and environmental training courses is mandatory.
  • Relevant experience is beneficial.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with all levels of staff, including operational employees, supervisors, and management.
  • Experience in delivering HSE training courses is a plus.

  • Proficient in computer applications (Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, PowerPoint, and Internet).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Office environment tasks include sitting, typing, walking, and standing.
  • Assist in the implementation of the NOV HSE 360 Management System.
