JOB DESCRIPTION
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervise incident investigations, perform Root Cause Analysis, and ensure timely resolution of Corrective Actions.
Deliver HSE training sessions to facility staff, including leadership.
Promote the Management of Change (MOC) procedure/process.
Engage in regular facility HSE inspections, evaluations, and audits.
Conduct assessments of field operations at rig sites.
Facilitate effective communication with all site personnel to review and address all aspects of company HSE principles.
Serve as a consultant and resource for facility management on HSE issues.Coordinate with facility management to ensure clear communication on all outstanding action items.
Perform hazard-risk assessments.
Maintain documentation and recordkeeping as specified in the NOV HSE 360 Management system.
Collaborate closely with facility operations personnel to ensure adherence to the NOV HSE 360 Management System (policies, procedures, and actions).
Execute additional responsibilities as assigned by HSE Management.Assist in updating the local facility's HSE Management System.
Support the business unit and local facilities in achieving annual HSE Objectives and targets.
Conduct monthly HSE evaluations at NOV facilities and client locations.
Assist in conducting Internal Audits in accordance with NOV HSE procedures.
Present audit findings and recommendations to local or Area Management.
Qualifications:
(Education/Years of Experience)
A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the oil and gas sector.
Experience in auditing HSE Management Systems.
Experience in training.
A degree in HSE or a related field is considered advantageous.
Experience:
Experience in implementing and maintaining a HSE Management System.
Completion of safety and environmental training courses is mandatory.
Relevant experience is beneficial.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to collaborate with all levels of employees, including shop floor staff, team leaders, supervisors, and management.
Experience in delivering HSE training courses is an asset.
Skills, Training, Special Knowledge, and/or Language Skills:
Proficient in computer applications (Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint & Internet).
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication abilities.
