Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Chemical Process Operator to join our team at Yoh's client location in Richmond, CA. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating, monitoring, and controlling batch and continuous chemical processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the CPO group and other departments to achieve business goals.
  • Champion the site's safety culture by following all safety policies and procedures.
  • Execute assigned tasks according to standard operating procedures, including weighing, measuring, preparing, mixing, monitoring, and adjusting chemical materials.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of required policies, procedures, quality standards, good manufacturing practices, and safety environmental regulations.
  • Perform equipment cleaning and batch preparation, including communication with maintenance.
Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required. An associate degree with a chemical/biological background is highly desired.
  • The ability to speak, read, and write professionally in English is required.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize tasks and be detail-oriented.
  • Intermediate-level math and analytical skills with the ability to convert units of measure and calculate ratios are required.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, including Excel and Word, is needed.
  • Experience working with ERP systems, such as SAP, is a plus.
