Job Title: Senior Project Manager - Geotechnical and Materials Testing

We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Senior Project Manager to lead our Geotechnical and Materials Testing Tucson Business Unit. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in geotechnical engineering, materials testing, project management, and business development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, and vendors to allocate resources effectively and resolve project issues promptly.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company policies.
  • Implement quality control measures to ensure the highest standards of project delivery and workplace safety.
  • Manage the Business Unit's P&L, ensuring profitability and financial targets are met.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including preparing proposals, presentations, and bid submissions.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in geotechnical engineering or materials testing, with at least 5 years in a project management role.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license is required or ability to obtain within 6 months.
  • Proven experience managing complex geotechnical projects and leading multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong business acumen with experience managing P&L and driving business growth.

The targeted pay range for this position is up to $150,000 depending on experience.
