Job Title: Project Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Specialist to join our team at Project Solutions, Inc. in Tucson, Arizona.

Job Summary:

The Project Specialist will provide support to the construction management team on the Grand Canyon Transcanyon Waterline (TCWL) project. This project involves the construction of multiple facilities, including the Transcanyon South Rim Support Facilities, Transcanyon Waterline Replacement, South Rim Water Treatment Plant, and Phantom Ranch Water Treatment Plant.

Responsibilities:

  • Review submittals and RFIs for the Grand Canyon TCWL project.
  • Attend meetings and provide meeting minutes.
  • Assist with engineering cost estimates.
  • Review contractor schedules.
  • Assist on other National Parks projects as necessary.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Familiarity with construction plans.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Knowledge of software including Primavera Project Planner (P6) Schedules, Microsoft Project, Word, and Excel.
  • Maintain a valid driver's license.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of individuals.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Familiarity with the Grand Canyon area.
