Job Summary

This Certified Residential Medication Aide position at MaineHealth offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and patient-centered environment. As a CRMA, you will be responsible for the safe preparation, administration, and recording of medications in accordance with state and federal regulations and the standards of nursing practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care services to residents in the role of PSS, consistent with the philosophy of resident-centered care.
  • Work under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse to ensure accurate and timely medication administration.
  • Exhibit mature, responsible behavior and maintain resident confidentiality.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English, as well as follow direction and accurately report any changes in resident condition.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma preferred; at least 18 years old.
  • Maine State-approved forty (40) hour CRMA certification.
  • Prior long-term care experience preferred.
  • Acceptable criminal background check.
