Certified Residential Medication Aide

Job Summary
MaineHealth is seeking a Certified Residential Medication Aide to join our team in an Assisted Living setting. This is a full-time position with a 24-hour workweek.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, administer, and record medications in accordance with state and federal regulations and nursing standards.
- Provide personal care services to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Work under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse to ensure the highest quality of care.
- Develop and maintain a positive and respectful relationship with residents, families, and colleagues.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; 18 years old or older.
- Maine State-approved 40-hour CRMA certification required.
- Prior long-term care experience preferred.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English.
- Exhibit mature, responsible behavior and understand resident confidentiality.
- Able to follow direction and accurately report changes in resident condition.
- Must have compassion for and desire to work with the elderly.
- Must have an acceptable criminal background check.
