CRMA-Assisted Living Specialist

MaineHealth is seeking a Certified Residential Medication Aide (CRMA) to join our team. As a CRMA, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe preparation, administration, and recording of medications for our residents. This is a full-time position, with 40 hours per week, and offers a $4,000 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates.
Responsibilities- Administer medications in accordance with state and federal regulations, under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse.
- Provide personal care services to residents, including assistance with daily living activities.
- Maintain accurate records of medication administration and resident care.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality care and resident satisfaction.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and regulations.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; at least 18 years old.
- Successful completion of a Maine State-approved 40-hour CRMA certification program.
- Prior long-term care experience preferred.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English.
- Exhibit mature, responsible behavior and understand resident confidentiality.
- Able to follow direction and accurately report changes in resident condition to the Registered Nurse.
- Must have compassion for and desire to work with the elderly.
- Must have an acceptable criminal background check.
