As a Sports Betting Cashier, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service by processing wagers for various race and sports events. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Accepting and comprehending different types of race and sports wagers while adhering to established limits.
  • Assisting guests with inquiries related to race and sports betting.
  • Utilizing the race and sports computer system to issue tickets and process winning tickets.
  • Ensuring the accuracy of your cash bank by retrieving and verifying funds.
  • Completing all necessary company, tax, and gaming regulation documentation accurately and thoroughly.
  • Making copies of daily betting sheets and scratch sheets as required.
  • Performing all tasks in compliance with company policies and regulatory guidelines.

Position Requirements:

  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Preferred: Six months of experience in race and sports wagering; prior cash handling experience is essential.
  • Ability to process wagers using the company's computer and software systems.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with fluency in English.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain any necessary licenses and certifications.
