About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Art Director to join our Motion Media team at Target. As a key member of our creative team, you will be responsible for developing and executing innovative video content that showcases the Target brand and resonates with our audience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop concepts for video projects that align with business and creative objectives
  • Craft compelling narratives, mood boards, and storyboards that effectively convey the intended message
  • Present concepts to senior leaders and stakeholders
  • Partner with the Associate Creative Director to define and maintain the overall creative vision for each project
  • Contribute to the production process, including guiding talent, camera angles, lighting setups, and compositions
  • Manage the post-production process, providing direction to video editors, colorists, and audio engineers
  • Film and/or edit short-form videos for Target's owned channels
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and staying within budget
About You
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 4 years of professional video concepting and art directing experience
  • Ability to tell authentic, engaging stories through video content
  • Experience creating video content for social media channels
  • Current on video and social media trends
  • Strong sense of aesthetics, knowledge of sound design, and ways to appeal to the senses through video work
  • In-depth understanding of video production processes
  • Proficiency in Premiere Pro, After Effects, and other relevant tools
  • Knowledge of other Adobe Creative Suite applications a plus
  • Comfortable with managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and traveling for shoots
  • Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, presentation, and communication skills
