Position Overview

As a Rehabilitation Specialist, you will deliver therapeutic services tailored to individual patient requirements and medical guidance. Your role will include providing education to patients and their caregivers, as well as coordinating the necessary adaptive equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough evaluations to determine the extent of disability and establish treatment goals and plans.
  • Document patient evaluations and treatments in accordance with departmental standards and legal requirements.
  • Instruct and mentor rehabilitation staff, nursing personnel, and students on patient care and rehabilitation services.
  • Engage in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing patient satisfaction and program development.
Qualifications

A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent from an accredited physical therapy program is required. Candidates should be prepared to perform physical assessments and demonstrate a commitment to patient-centered care.

Work Environment
